Cristin’s Story

Cristin MacDonald, Ph.D., was in the car with her son when he started experiencing intense tics.
“We didn’t know what to do and assumed the worst,” says Cristin.

Thankfully, Cristin had heard about neuroinflammation from a mother whose sons had experienced similar symptoms. This allowed her to better advocate for her son and get him the treatment he needed, even when a neurologist she visited denied the existence of PANDAS.
